Autonomous Examination Cell

    The College is duty bound to conduct examinations and confer degrees and post-graduate on persons who fulfill the requisite qualifications / conditions. The Examination Section therefore is the backbone of the College. The Controller of Examinations shall be the principal officer-in-charge for the conduct of examinations and declarations of their results. He shall discharge his functions under the superintendence, directions and guidance of the Examination Committee. He works directly under the direction and control of the Principal. The Controller of Examinations shall be appointed by the Principal for a period of three years

EXAMINATION WORKING COMMITTEE

   The continuous internal assessments in K.L.E.P.C.Jabin College are overlooked by the CIA Examination Committee headed by the COE under the guidance of Principal of the college. The committee meets regularly for the discussion on evaluation process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CIA EXAMINATION COMMITTEE

• Conduct the Internal Examinations as per the Calendar of events.
• Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) Marks Calculation
• Organize Graduation Day

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COE OFFICE

• To prepare and announce in advance the calendar of examinations.
• Conduct of End Semester Examinations
• Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) Marks Calculation & Publication
• Marks Card Distribution
• Monitoring evaluation process
• Publication of results
• To take disciplinary action where necessary against the candidates, paper-setters, examiners, moderators, or any other persons connected with examinations and found guilty of malpractices in relations to the examinations.
• To review from time to time, the results of examinations and forward reports there on to the Academic Council.
• The controller shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed or assigned to him, from time to time.
• Organize Graduation Day

CLASS DECLARATION

• A candidate who passes all the subjects with 70% and above marks in aggregate shall be declared as First Class with Distinction.
• A candidate who passes all the subjects with between 60% and 70% of aggregate shall be declared as First Class.
• A candidate who passes all the subjects with less than 60% of aggregate marks shall be declared as Second Class.
• AWARD OF DEGREE
• A candidate will be eligible for award of B.Sc./ BCA & PG degree if he/she satisfies all the following conditions:
• Has cleared (minimum pass grade) in all subjects and obtained requisite number of credit points in all Semester.
• Has secured a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average.

CRITERIA FOR AWARD OF GOLD MEDALS

• The best graduate / university gold medal winner will be selected based on the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average secured by the graduate passing out in the academic year.
• For award of gold medal more than one candidates may be declared Joint Winner if they have same CGPA.
• Student appearing for Back/Improvement/Reappear Examination shall not be considered for award of Gold Medal.
• Student get hard case in any semester examination shall not be considered for award of Gold Medal.

GRADUATION DAY:

• The graduation day is scheduled during the end of the academic year.
• Parents and guardians are welcome to attend the session.
• Students who have achieved the total credits for the respective programme are eligible to attend the graduation day ceremony.
