The Department of Hindi was established in the year 1957 and dedicated to the proliferation of linguistic finesse and harking back to the legacy of the nation.

Making familiar with recent trends in Hindi (like administrative letter-writing etc.).

Improving the knowledge of Hindi in depth through workshops, seminars, Class Seminars and assignments best practices so on.
Improving educational and Communicative skills through the conduction of Competitions, seminars best practices, value added courses and Students can get proficiency in all skills like speaking, writing, listening, reading and understanding
Improving employability through developing communicative skills, awareness Programmes and field visits.

OBJECTIVES

Hindi as a subject in the degree course is to create an interest among the students
Hindi is the language and literature and also to master the art of communication.
Hindi is the national language of India so students should be motivated to study this language.
This literacy art will establish ethical values in students that will lead them towards the right direction in this materialistic world.
As literature is the mirror of our society,it will reflect the rich diverse culture of our nation.
Inclusion of grammar will enable students to perfect their writing skills, which in the long run will help them in their career.
