P. C. Jabin Science College committed to the cause of Science education has traversed a long journey with its own glory since 1957. The institution is named after late Sri. Parappa Channppa Jabin donated by Smt. Channamma P. Jabin a great philanthropist. The College is located in the heart of the city in a peaceful locality of Hubballi-Dharwad with an area of 8 acres of land, with colonial style main building and sprawling lush green garden. The College provides adequate infrastructure facilities to share and experience the excitement of Science. Imparts the Basic Science and Need Based Quality Education from last 60 years. The aims and objectives that the college has set for itself have been pursued relentlessly is keen about quality education and all round development of students enhancing their employment potentials. Developing scientific temper, research culture and nation building are objectives to train the students’ to become civilized citizens of the country. The college has established MoUs, Collaborations and linkages with industries, research institutions, Government organisations and Non Government organisations for research and academic purpose.

The college has adopted Outcome Based Education (OBE) which catalyzes the curriculum to the needs of the industry and the society. An innovative pedagogical practice in the teaching learning processes forms the academic ecosystem of the institution. The active involvement of faculty in research has led to the recognition of Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology research centers by the KLE Health University, Belagavi.

The college enables the students to evolve into dynamic professionals with broad range of soft skills; the college also offers Certificate and Value Added courses to every student. Good industrial interface and the experienced alumni help the students to become a complete employable science graduate. There is always a sense of innovative and creativity through a wide range of extra-curricular activities designed and run by college forums, department associations to support the academic experience.

The campus comprises of various laboratories with the state-of-art equipments has resulted in proper utilization of technology to meet out the academic, research and industrial needs of the stakeholders.
