Keeping in view with the Job Opportunities and Career Avenues for our Students, the College has well established Career Guidance and Placement Cell .

Objectives:

• To Identify & develop Human resource
• Explore the avenues for the students
• Development of Competence to meet global challenges
• Develop Employable skills

Career Guidance and Placement Cell Provides :

• Enrollment & training to reach the industries requirements.
• Skill development for employability.
• Empower to be an Entrepreneur.
• Create awareness among students regarding available career options and help them in identifying their career objectives.
• Guide the students in developing skills and job-search strategies required to achieve their career objectives.
• Identify suitable potential employers and help them achieve their hiring goals.
• Organize activities concerning career planning.
• Act as a bridge between students, alumni and employers.
• Take feedback from industry and provide inputs for curriculum designing .

Workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness’ Camp by CEDOK Dharwad

ENTERPRENEURSHIP AWARNESS PROGRAMME organised in P.CJabin Science college. This programme is organized under the aegis of Department of Industries & Commerce, GOK, DIC Dharwad, CEDOK Dharwad. The programmed held between 28th September 2015 to 30th September 2015 for B.Sc. III Year students, More that 100 students benefittedby this programme . The awareness programme was conducted by Mr. C.H.Angadi, Mr. Satish Yeligar and others.

1) The Institute organized three days “FEEL Employable” workshop for B.Sc II year students from 4th January to 6th January 2017 at Gymkhana Hall. Shri. Mohan Limbikai, Ex. MLC &Member, Governing body, P. C. Jabin Science College, Hubballi was the chief guest for Inaugural function. More than 120 students participated in this workshop. The workshop was conducted by College for Leadership & Human Resource Development, Mangalore.

Owing to the importance of training, Principal suggested to start the training programme for degree students from 1st year itself. In view of this the Placement cell in collaboration with Computer Science department arranged Employability Skill Training program B.Sc II year students from 4th January to 6th January 2016. 250 students attended the programme, the topics covered were “ Team Building & Creativity, Aptitude.
